lyrics
Breathe in a recitation
Exhale the fire below
Let go the force beneath the surface
Blood on stone
Dance across the grave in wonder
Release life’s thread
The fates upon you
Snipping at your heels
Their scissors glare
The madness in your likeness
Will varnish in the greying
Slumbers of midnight
Move toward the flame before you
Come forth and bathe in light
Release the pressure forming under
Skin so ripe
The madness in your likeness
Will varnish in the greying
Slumbers of midnight
They fall before you scattered pieces
Of what once was
Waves of blood that course, beckoning
A pressing recollection, a flashing blade
Won’t feel hesitation
This time around

Some bands have struggled since the old spicy cough came along, but Krallice have absolutely flourished, releasing 5 albums in the last 3 years. It’s one thing to be prolific like they have, but one could argue that these last few albums are among the bands best work to date. So when they went and dropped this album on us, It’s fair to say that I was rather fucking excited. And my god is it good. Even when writing synth heavy instrumentals they know how to draw the listener in. A special band dissonant_ways

total brain melter! Krallice decides to take their music in a slightly different direction, introducing extremely chaotic and technical riffs amidst super complicated drum patterns. heavy Behold the Arctopus vibes from this one. n. charlene excelsia
