lyrics
The water lures me to it’s edge
Draws me closer with her depth
The stillness deafening
Beneath the blue a chasm deep
What lies under waits for sleep
To take its hold
Loveless eyes of blue
Weather storms of truth
And theres no cold wave retreating
Or a second chance
to gasp for air
Like Ophelia’s embrace
The weeping willow sways
The daisies float in my right hand
A glass like surface mirrored back
A ripple trembling
a flashback
Falling into the abyss
Like Ophelia’s embrace
The weeping willow sways
The daisies float in my right hand
Lost in currents dark and slow
She strips away all innocence
What good am I on this night
The temptress waiting to take me whole
Will I succumb to all her gloom
While flowers beckon in full bloom.
Along the riverbanks
A phantom down the river black
Murmuring ballads of sweet madness
Softly to the evening breeze
Loveless eyes of blue
Weather storms of truth
And theres no cold wave retreating
Or a second chance
to gasp for air
To gasp for air
To gasp for air
To gasp for air
Krallice reinventing their sound while still retaining their signature quirks.fantastic album, a wavering, beautiful mess that engulf the listener. Gata Vrangr
Some bands have struggled since the old spicy cough came along, but Krallice have absolutely flourished, releasing 5 albums in the last 3 years. It’s one thing to be prolific like they have, but one could argue that these last few albums are among the bands best work to date. So when they went and dropped this album on us, It’s fair to say that I was rather fucking excited. And my god is it good. Even when writing synth heavy instrumentals they know how to draw the listener in. A special band dissonant_ways
Cinematic-scale goth from Reflection Black with catchy melodies, dreamy synths, punchy rhythms, and a sense of timelessness. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 21, 2023
A killer re-release of a rare solo post-punk LP from 1988 by the frontman of Taste of Decay and Garden of Pleasures. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 17, 2022
total brain melter! Krallice decides to take their music in a slightly different direction, introducing extremely chaotic and technical riffs amidst super complicated drum patterns. heavy Behold the Arctopus vibes from this one. n. charlene excelsia
