about
And how I stumbled as the rumbling grew near
Oh heaven save me from the hounding of their hooves
A dissonant rhythm pounding in their death rattle
In stoney awe I’m gazing for discerning forms
Chaos of hellish sounds were lifted in the storm
The brooding echo rising quickly toward the dawn
How oft would we float in twilight
O’r the rivers and streams
Sings the herald of midnight
Foretells of blood that will spill
How of would we float in twilight
Dreaming a world made of dreams
More black than darkest night
The desperateness hung on the air
Each step a sinking weight
Their clamor at my heels
Bewilderment has taken over
The shadows and the sounds
Where everywhere
Oh the yearling thunder calls
In a desert burning red
All that remains is cold as clay
And oh that lunar glow
Of a sphere that mirrors back
My reflection is both the sun and moon

Some bands have struggled since the old spicy cough came along, but Krallice have absolutely flourished, releasing 5 albums in the last 3 years. It’s one thing to be prolific like they have, but one could argue that these last few albums are among the bands best work to date. So when they went and dropped this album on us, It’s fair to say that I was rather fucking excited. And my god is it good. Even when writing synth heavy instrumentals they know how to draw the listener in. A special band dissonant_ways

total brain melter! Krallice decides to take their music in a slightly different direction, introducing extremely chaotic and technical riffs amidst super complicated drum patterns. heavy Behold the Arctopus vibes from this one. n. charlene excelsia
